Mineral Resources Strategist

About the Role:
  • Develop comprehensive strategies to promote investment and drive production growth in the mining sector.
  • Provide expert advice on mining areas (exploration, geology, mine development & design, extraction & beneficiation, refining) to support regulatory frameworks and company strategies.
  • Conduct research and analysis on regional mining industry trends, opportunities, and challenges – generate insights and actionable output.
  • Collaborate with mining companies, investors, and local communities to promote sustainable practices and build relationships.
  • Establish performance metrics to track progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to methodologies, tools, and intellectual property related to mining sector trends and innovations.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mining fields (geology, mining specialist, etc.) or MBAs.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in the mining industry and overall experience of minimum 8 years in research and consulting.
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of mining areas.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Teamwork and Project Management: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
