Visual Storyteller

About this role:

We are seeking a skilled Visual Storyteller to join our team. As a key member of our creative department, you will be responsible for crafting compelling visual narratives that engage and inspire our audience.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with our team to develop innovative video concepts and projects.
  • Design and create storyboards and scripts in collaboration with content writers.
  • Participate actively in creative strategy development and media design ideas.
  • Work with manipulating raw camera footage, virtual meeting recordings, dialogue, sound effects, graphics, and special effects as needed.
  • Responsible for editing and assembling recorded raw material into a suitable, finished product ready for broadcasting.
  • Stay up-to-date with new content trends and technologies to ensure our output remains cutting-edge.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (fine arts, multimedia production, journalism, or a related passion) with relevant technical training in video and digital design and production.
  • 0-4 years prior experience in a video editor or producer role.
  • Ability to handle multimedia projects from conception to completion and multi-task efficiently.
  • Strong knowledge of post-production processes.
  • Working knowledge of editing software Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Audition, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Experience in short-form storytelling through various editorial techniques including cuts, transitions, timing, and the effective use of sound and visuals to communicate.
  • Ability to manage production for still and video recording.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work well in teams.
  • Self-motivation, proactiveness, and attention to detail.

Added Advantage:

  • Having experience in camera operation, OBS, and using AI for work is preferred.
