Inventory Management Position

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to oversee the storage and distribution of materials in our warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain up-to-date inventory records, including stock levels, batch numbers, and supplier details.
  • Conduct regular physical stock counts to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstocking, and implement strategies to optimize storage capacity.
  • Coordinate with production teams to ensure availability of required materials for uninterrupted operations.
  • Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders (quantity, quality, and specifications).
  • Prioritize and manage inventory requests from various departments to meet business needs.
  • Implement effective inventory management systems and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas for cost reduction.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate better prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards related to inventory management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with ERP/Inventory Management systems, including data analysis and reporting tools.
