We are seeking an experienced US Sports News Editor to join our dynamic editorial team.

A leading sports entertainment digital media publication, we verify facts, proofread, and enhance content quality before publishing.

With a keen eye for detail and excellent research skills, the ideal candidate will edit and publish 20-25 articles daily.

Publishing timely fashion is crucial for priority news-based articles. Additionally, mentoring writers to refine their quality, output, and performance is essential.

The successful candidate will have a good grasp of American English and culture, be quick with fact-checking, and take ownership of publishing articles on time. Leadership qualities and a knack for people management are also required.

We require:

  • A minimum of 6-12 months of experience in proofreading and/or content editing.
  • Prior experience of leading a team of writers would be an additional plus.
