Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst

This role entails collaborating with various stakeholders and internal teams to comprehend problem statements that can be resolved through data analysis and visualizations using BI platforms.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify problem statements that can be solved through data analysis and visualizations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and internal teams to understand these problem statements
  • Extract relevant data from sources
  • Clean and validate data, developing automated scripts for cleaning and validation
  • Evaluate data quality and suggest improvements
  • Provide inputs to enhance data collection and validation at the point of capture
  • Migrate data between source and target systems
  • Create data visualizations to drive decision making
  • Establish and maintain data repositories
  • Brainstorm ideas and develop prototypes for future tools and products
  • Write queries to retrieve data from different data sources

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electronics
  • At least 2-3 years of work experience in logical thinking, data analytics, quantitative analysis, and algorithm optimization
  • Understanding of databases, analytics (especially business intelligence), and application programming languages such as Python, R, etc.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence platforms
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and emails, with an added advantage of cloud expertise
