Job Title: Studio Coordinator

The primary responsibility of the Studio Coordinator is to oversee the smooth operation of all studio and offsite activities, under the guidance and direction of the Head of Department (HOD). This role involves managing various tasks, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining a high level of organization throughout the shoot process.

The coordinator will direct team members on multi-camera setups, lighting, set design, and actor preparation under the guidance of the HOD. Additionally, they will be responsible for overseeing studio maintenance, equipment management, and effective footage management to ensure all aspects of the shoot are under control.

  • Pre-Production Coordination:
    • Coordinate pre-production logistics, including arranging necessary resources and equipment.
    • Organize and manage all pre-production tasks, including content sorting and preparation.
  • Production Management:
    • Oversee and organize studio operations, including lighting, set design, and actor preparation under the guidance of the HOD.
    • Manage multi-camera filming to ensure high-quality footage and smooth transitions.
    • Guide team members during shoots to ensure sound, lighting, and focus are properly controlled according to the direction of the HOD.
    • Maintain studio equipment and ensure it is in good working condition.
    • Ensure all aspects and requests for the shoot are under control, adhering to the direction of the HOD.
  • Footage Management:
    • Properly store and handle recorded content.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • Prior experience in production coordination and studio management.
    • Familiarity with multi-camera setups and production equipment.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational skills for managing pre-production and studio operations.
    • Excellent communication and coordination skills for working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic production environment.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Understanding of lighting, set design, cameras, and other production equipment.
    • Awareness of studio maintenance, equipment management, and post-production processes.
