We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Serving Skill. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining quality standards and metrics, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring that quality metrics are reviewed and agreed upon.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Standards and Metrics: Define quality standards and metrics for the current project/product to ensure timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with all stakeholders to review, close, and agree upon quality metrics.
  • QA Team Support: Provide support to the QA team by making them aware of the Quality matrix and resolving any queries they may have.
  • Milestone Planning: Create a list of milestones and checkpoints, set measurable criteria to check quality on a timely basis, and plan and schedule several milestones and tasks like alpha and beta testing.
  • Test Plan Development: Develop processes for the test plan and several phases of the testing cycle, including automation and manual testing.
  • Project Management: Participate in the entire lifecycle of projects, from requirement gathering to UAT sign-off, and monitor productivity and efficiency of the testing teams through appropriate metrics.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all development tasks meet quality criteria through test planning, test execution, quality assurance, and issue tracking.
  • Automation and Manual Testing: Work closely with the team to ensure deadlines are met and focus on automation along with manual testing.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously raise the bar and standards of all quality processes with every project.
  • Test Plan Reviews: Set processes for test plan reviews and ensure that test plans get reviewed by all stakeholders.
  • Testing Strategies: Review test strategies and ensure that all various kinds of testing like unit, functional, performance, stress, acceptance, etc. are getting covered.

New Technologies and Strategies: Stay updated with new testing technologies and strategies in the industry and set quality standards for the teams, including finding new strategies for automation testing and day-to-day work processes like agile and scrum.

Goals and Objectives: Set up goals and objectives for QA Engineers and lead by example.

Requirements:

  • Strategizing and Evolving Testing Strategies: Proven track record of strategizing and evolving testing strategies to achieve high-quality results.
  • Product Roadmap Management: Experience in managing product roadmaps for web and mobile products (Android/iOS) in the financial services industry.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages.
  • Software Skills: Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement.
  • Developmental Toolsets: Working proficiency in developmental toolsets.
  • Problem Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve complex issues.
  • Project Lifecycle Participation: Participation in the entire lifecycle of projects - from requirement gathering to UAT sign-off.
  • Team Productivity Monitoring: Defining and monitoring productivity and efficiency of the testing teams through appropriate metrics.
  • Team Management: Proven experience in managing and facilitating the mix of internal teams and external vendors as a part of product buildout.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong team building and people management skills to lead and motivate the team.

Education Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology or equivalent is required.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
