Network Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Network Infrastructure Manager to oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of our enterprise network infrastructure.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Configuration & Management:
- Plan, install, configure, and manage network infrastructure devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Administer network services (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) and ensure their proper functioning.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups.
- Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
- Monitor and maintain network performance and uptime.
- Provide L3 troubleshooting for DNS/DHCP/infrastructure issues.
- Conduct RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and apply long-term fixes.
- Security & Compliance:
- Configure security policies within network systems.
- Monitor network security events, mitigate threats, and ensure compliance.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain network documentation, runbooks, and RCA reports.
- Generate regular performance/security reports.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with IT teams.
- Participate in on-call rotations for critical escalations.
Required Skills:
- Deep expertise in network protocols: TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP, EIGRP, IS-IS, STP, RSTP.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, and Riverbed solutions.
- Experience with scripting (Python, Shell) for automation.
- Ability to work in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of load balancers, QoS, and NAC solutions.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with network monitoring tools (Nektar, SolarWinds, etc.).
- Strong troubleshooting and RCA documentation skills.
- Knowledge of security policies and threat mitigation techniques.
