Job Description:

  • Create high-performance digital circuit designs for FPGA and SW implementation.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer requirements, specifications, and tender enquiries to drive project success.
  • Lead projects from concept to delivery, including risk identification, dependency creation, mitigation planning, project schedule tracking, customer discussions, and design reviews.
  • Analyze algorithms for partitioning and implement them in FPGA and/or SW, identifying building blocks and signal processing functions.
  • Estimate FPGA resources, computation bandwidth, and memory bandwidth to ensure efficient design.
  • Design and develop module-level details from architecture, coding, simulation, and perform peer reviews, applying design, verification, or validation methodologies.
  • Define, create, and maintain project-related documentation, especially design documents with detailed analysis reports.
  • Provide expert support to customers during integration phases at test sites and to production teams.
  • Design the architecture of RTL functions and HDL Coding.
  • Perform Simulation and Implementation tasks.
  • Test on board and debug systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • VHDL Knowledge
  • Xilinx tools for synthesis and implementation
  • Thorough understanding of Xilinx FPGAs
  • Functional Simulation
  • Hardware Design: Logic Design & Debugging expertise
  • FPGA Design: VHDL/Verilog RTL Coding, System C/ System Verilog
  • FPGA Synthesis & PAR Tools
  • Implementing DSP algorithms in FPGA environment for Radar and Electronic Warfare systems.
  • Modeling the algorithms in Octave/MATLAB, generating test vectors, visualizing data.
  • Working knowledge on interfacing with ADCs and DACs and interpreting their performance.
  • Fluency, good communication & presentation skills.
  • Configuration/Version control tools like SVN
