Electronics Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Engineer to join our team. This individual will play a key role in designing, developing, and testing complex electronic circuits for high-reliability applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics engineering, with expertise in analog and digital electronics, embedded systems, and design for manufacturability. They will be responsible for creating and reviewing PCB layouts and schematics, selecting components, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

  • Circuit Design and Development: Design and develop complex analog and digital electronic circuits for high-reliability applications.
  • Prototyping and Testing: Assist in designing and prototyping of ruggedized electronic systems, including IP65/IP68-rated enclosures, with a focus on harsh environments.
  • PCB Layout and Schematics: Create and review PCB layouts and schematics using industry-standard EDA tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, or KiCAD).
  • Component Selection: Select appropriate electronic components and materials for optimal performance, durability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with mechanical and software engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies and prototypes.
  • Laboratory Equipment Operation: Operate lab equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies) for circuit debugging and verification.
  • Documentation: Prepare detailed technical documentation for manufacturing, compliance, and assembly processes.
  • Innovation: Contribute to cross-functional design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and the development of innovative electronic solutions for next-generation technology products.

To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, and prior experience in defence, industrial, or high-reliability electronics product development is highly desirable. A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant industry experience is required.
