Job Role: Travel Professional

At our organization, we are seeking a skilled and experienced travel professional to serve as a liaison between our company and its customers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of effectively catering to the travel requirements of clients with the goal of enhancing their overall experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage bookings which include domestic and international flights and rail services.
  • Provide expert advice on products and services, including visa requirements, foreign exchange, and health regulations.
  • Handle refunds and cancellations for domestic and international air tickets.
  • Coordinate the issuance of tickets with proper deal codes and utilize client rewards programs.
  • Utilize established communication scripts when handling various topics.
  • Collaborate with clients, internal teams, and external partners.
  • Assist in follow-up processes related to invoicing and recoveries.
  • Identify customer needs, clarify information, research every issue, and provide solutions or alternatives.
  • Build long-term relationships by going above and beyond for customers.
Competencies:
  • Effective communication skills and active listening.
  • Expert knowledge of computer reservation systems, GDS systems, and electronic travel tools.
  • Ability to interact, communicate, and negotiate effectively.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
  • Strong knowledge of domestic and international travel trends.
  • Passionate interest in geography and strong travel knowledge.
  • Ability to assimilate information accurately and pay close attention to detail.
Educational Qualifications:
  • Graduate with a diploma in travel and tourism preferred.

Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience working with a travel management company is required.
