Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Rebar Detailer to join our team at DBM Vircon. As a Rebar Detailer, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed drawings of reinforcing steel structures using software such as aSa or CADS RC. This role requires a strong understanding of construction modeling and detailing principles, as well as excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  1. Review contract drawings and details to estimate the hours required to complete the project.
  2. Prepare rebar placing drawings and estimates of structural components using customer structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and other hand-off documents.
  3. Create bar lists and order forms for accessory items in accordance with the project pour sequence and schedule.
  4. Follow process and procedures defined for self-checking to produce quality detailing.
  5. Deliver quality output within the given timeline and proactively report any deviations to the Team leader.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in Structural Steel Detailing.
  • University Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Civil/Mechanical/Architectural Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Certificate or training in Rebar Detailing or Estimating software, e.g. aSa, CADS RC, Revit.
