Rebar Detailer

At Skytec Supply Inc, we are seeking a skilled Rebar Detailer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for preparing detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for rebars. Your expertise will ensure that our designs are practical, achievable, and compliant with safety standards.

• Prepare detailed BOQ for rebar based on project specifications.
• Collaborate with on-site teams to ensure designs are practical and achievable.
• Perform safety assessments on rebar designs, ensuring compliance with relevant safety regulations.
• Research and integrate the latest rebar technologies and methods to enhance design efficiency and safety.
• Work with procurement and finance teams to assess cost implications of designs.
• Engage with clients to present design proposals and gather feedback.
• Create comprehensive documentation for all design projects, including reports and calculations.
• Assist in resolving structural or design issues during rebar assembly.
• Oversee the implementation of scaffold designs on-site to ensure compliance with design plans.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant technical degree, or equivalent scaffolding engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or similar rebar industry certification.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, RebarCAD, and Tekla.
• Experience working in the rebar industry.
• Strong organizational, strategic planning, and project management skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Confident decision-maker with problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple overlapping projects effectively.
• High-level critical thinking, analysis, and logical reasoning abilities.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe products.
• Professional demeanor with a commitment to high standards and integrity.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM (Pacific Standard Time)

Salary and Benefits: INR 50,000 per month, working only 5 days a week
