Overview of Responsibilities

Job Summary

This is a high-level engineering leadership role that requires an experienced manager with expertise in software development and technical project management. We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our technology teams and drive business outcomes through innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for the delivery of high-quality software products on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, QA, and operations, to ensure successful project execution and platform uptime.
  • Work closely with product managers to define product strategy and achieve business objectives.
  • Participate in backlog refinement, assist product managers with user story prioritization, and contribute to sprint planning with product teams and technical leads.
  • Define, deploy, and improve software development lifecycle processes in coordination with product and QA teams.
  • Ensure all user stories are estimated, software designs created, and sprint dependencies met before sprint begins.
  • Assign tasks to team members and monitor sprint progress to ensure timely delivery.
  • Implement unit testing and peer code reviews for quality assurance.
  • Provide regular updates on sprint progress to stakeholders.
  • Identify and address bottlenecks to sprint schedule in a timely manner.
  • Support production support teams in addressing production issues and meeting service level agreements.
  • Collaborate with technical architects to participate in development and deployment of platform architecture aligned with business goals.
  • Deploy AI-assisted coding tools and guidelines for use.
  • Build and develop a high-performing team by hiring, onboarding, coaching, and upskilling engineers.
  • Establish goals and objectives and conduct performance reviews for the team.
