The Role
This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, strong technical leadership, and the ability to manage complex projects across multiple regions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in Salesforce architecture and design, and will be able to communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee technical architecture and design sessions; develop comprehensive technical solutions aligned with business goals.
- Assess current Salesforce implementations, architecture, and processes to identify improvement opportunities and recommend solutions.
- Design and implement scalable Salesforce solutions, including custom applications, integrations, data migration strategies, and Salesforce CPQ.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for client engagements; provide thought leadership and strategic guidance on Salesforce platform capabilities and best practices.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and business analysts, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and optimization exercises to maintain high standards of code quality and scalability.
- Mentor and coach junior team members; foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the Salesforce practice.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 15 years of experience in Salesforce architecture, with at least 7 years in a senior or lead role. Proven experience in designing and implementing Salesforce solutions on a global scale with multi-cloud instances is required. A Bachelor's Degree in IT or Engineering is also necessary.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications: Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) preferred.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in Salesforce platform features, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and custom development using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and Salesforce APIs.
- Integration Knowledge: Strong experience with integrating Salesforce with third-party systems using middleware, APIs, and web services.
- Data Modelling: Experience with database/object oriented design, ETL processes.
- DevSecOps: Strong knowledge in SF Environments, Branching Strategy, Disaster Recovery & Security Audit.
