Job Title: Senior Public Relations Consultant

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Public Relations Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our public relations team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective PR strategies that drive business growth and enhance our company's reputation.

  • About the Role:
  • Liaise daily with clients and media via telephone and email to build strong relationships and networks with colleagues, clients, media, and marketing teams.
  • Manage the PR aspect of a possible crisis, ensuring prompt and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Provide clients with information about new promotional opportunities and PR campaign progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor media (traditional and digital), including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, social media, podcasts, blogs, and newswires.
  • Collate, analyse, and evaluate media coverage to track newspapers, magazines, and websites for opportunities.
  • Plan publicity strategies and campaigns to promote news stories and features.

Event Management:

  • Organize and manage press conferences, open days, exhibitions, tours, and visits to promote client events to media and PR platforms.
  • Coordinate studio or location photography and speak publicly at interviews, conferences, and presentations.

Brand Development:

  • Develop and foster relationships with brands and 3rd parties on behalf of ESSC.
  • Develop quarterly and annual roadmaps in line with client business goals.

Influencer & Thought Leadership Engagement:

  • Build relationships with industry leaders to grow awareness and keep abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and influencer activities.
  • Conduct trend forecasting for clients and their industries.

Research & Analysis:

  • Commission and undertake market research to analyze industry trends affecting clients and recommend communication strategies.
  • Research new business proposals and present to potential clients.

Team Contribution:

  • Motivate the team and encourage a friendly, open work environment.
  • Maintain a network of resources to deploy when needed.
