Job Title

Demand Planner: Shaping Supply Chain Strategy

Key Responsibilities
  • Demand Planning: Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for assigned business units, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment.
  • Statistical Analysis: Apply statistical techniques to generate and enrich demand plans, incorporating pricing, promotion, and project inputs from collaborative sales forecasting discussions.
  • Distribution Planning: Determine optimal stocking strategies and safety stock levels for each distribution center, aligned with analytics proposals and business objectives.
  • Inventory Management: Identify and mitigate supply risks, ensuring accurate replenishment plans are propagated through the supply chain.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Drive end-to-end supply lead time reductions through strategic stocking, safety stock management, and logistics optimization.
  • Collaboration and Issue Resolution: Lead SIOP discussions with business teams to drive alignment on demand, supply, and risk mitigation solutions, proactively identifying and resolving issues related to demand and supply.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, preferably with an MBA or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in demand and supply planning, with a strong background in electrical, electronics, or FMCG industries.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP and planning tools, such as Kinaxis.
