About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our cross-functional team as a Global Sourcing Leader, responsible for program sourcing activities in India under the supervision of a Japan-based manager.

Main Responsibilities
  • You will be embedded in our Ultrasound Probes business, managing dedicated products from a sourcing perspective. This includes New Product Introduction (NPI), production transfer within GE Healthcare, and recurring product updates in close collaboration with engineering, program management, and the integrated supply chain team.
  • You will co-develop a multi-year cost-out roadmap for specific products and manage the execution of related projects to achieve clearly defined goals, ensuring long-term competitiveness for respective business segments.
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a technical-related field.
  • 5 years of experience in Global Sourcing, Project Costing, Program Management.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of time.
  • Detailed knowledge of Manufacturing Processes of Mechanical parts.
  • Able to develop Cost Models for Assembled Products.
  • Familiarity with CTQs, PPAP, APQP, Supplier Requirements before Onboarding.
  • Knowledge about ERP for Supply Chain related requirements and capability to analyze SCM related data.
Preferred Characteristics
  • Passionate with strong sourcing and business acumen.
  • Experience in Developing Supply Chain for new parts.
  • Able to ensure material delivery in uncertain worlds.
  • Working experience with development and production with Medical Devices will be preferred.
  • Effective problem-solving ability to lead and influence others cross-functionally and globally.
  • Skilful in negotiating with suppliers, internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent program project management experience with the ability to develop and execute on integrated program plans.
  • Demonstrate strong execution skills and ability to drive change globally.
  • The ability to communicate in Japanese as well as prior experience working or studying in Japan or with Japanese companies will be preferred.
