Senior Engineering Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineering Expert to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design and assessment of bridges, culverts, and ancillary structures.

Job Description

As a Senior Engineering Expert, you will have overall responsibility for the design and assessment of bridges and other civil infrastructure projects. You will work closely with clients to understand their requirements and develop innovative solutions to meet their needs. Your expertise will also be required to assess and improve existing bridge designs, ensuring compliance with UK standards and best practices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the design and assessment of bridges, culverts, and ancillary structures
  • Developing and implementing new bridge design and strengthening designs to UK standards
  • Carrying out feasibility studies for strengthening and repair
  • Preparing new bridge designs and strengthening designs to UK standards
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Significant experience in bridge design, assessment, and construction
  • Strong knowledge of Eurocodes and UK CEng standards
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
