Job Overview
  • Build strong working relationships with teams and clients to deliver exceptional results.
  • Manage platforms for security information and event management, security orchestration automation and response, user entity behavior analytics, network behavioral analysis detection, data loss prevention, anti-evasion techniques, deception technology, virtualization, and other relevant solutions.
  • Ensure timely integration of log sources to optimize security operations.
  • Manage SIEM rules to reduce false positives and improve incident response.
  • Optimize SIEM performance for efficient processing and alerting to support real-time decision making.
  • Generate reports for compliance and audit requirements to ensure regulatory adherence.
  • Integrate UEBA solutions with existing security infrastructure to enhance threat detection and investigation.
  • Develop and fine-tune machine learning models to detect abnormal activities and reduce false positives.
  • Provide insights and context to support security investigations and improve incident response.
  • Streamline security operations by creating automated workflows and implementing orchestration and automation.
  • Implement and manage incident response playbooks to ensure effective response to security incidents.
  • Integrate SOAR platforms with various security tools and systems to enhance security operations.
  • Enhance security operations through orchestration, automation, and process improvements.
  • Track and report on the effectiveness of automation and response efforts to measure impact.
  • Manage platform components including installation, configuration, maintenance, update, and upgrade to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with other security teams to enhance threat detection, investigation, and response processes.
  • Provide training and support to security analysts on platform use and capabilities to ensure proficiency.
  • Ensure platforms meet regulatory and compliance requirements to mitigate risk.
  • Perform daily health checks and report sharing with stakeholders to ensure transparency.
Key Responsibilities
  • Security Operations Management: Manage security operations, including security information and event management (SIEM), security orchestration automation and response (SOAR), and user entity behavior analytics (UEBA).
  • Platform Management: Install, configure, maintain, update, and upgrade security platforms to ensure optimal performance.
  • Incident Response: Implement and manage incident response playbooks to ensure effective response to security incidents.
  • Orchestration and Automation: Streamline security operations by creating automated workflows and implementing orchestration and automation.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to security analysts on platform use and capabilities.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 4-9 years of experience in security operations management.
  • Expertise in SIEM, SOAR, UEBA, and other relevant security technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of security principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
