Real-Time Operations Manager

This role is responsible for overseeing the monitoring of wind turbine operations. The manager will be in charge of tracking key operational metrics, responding to system alarms and documenting incidents according to established protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring and Response: Monitor turbine operations in real-time using SCADA systems, tracking performance metrics such as power output, rotor speed, and grid connection status. Respond to alarms generated by the SCADA system, following predefined protocols to assess, document, and escalate incidents as necessary.
  • Data Analysis: Perform data logging and initial analysis of turbine performance data, identifying patterns that may indicate emerging issues or optimization opportunities.
  • Cybersecurity Compliance: Adhere to cybersecurity protocols within the SCADA environment, ensuring data security and integrity are maintained at all times.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering.
  • 1-3 years of experience in monitoring SCADA systems, managing system alerts, and assisting in incident response.
  • Familiarity with SCADA software, basic diagnostic tools, and understanding alarm response procedures.
