Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team at NexionPro Services. The ideal candidate will have a solid development background, combined with experience in monitoring, automation, and support of applications and infrastructure in cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain monitoring solutions using tools like AppDynamics, Prometheus, DataDog, NewRelic, and Dynatrace.
  • Develop customized metrics exporters and dashboards to provide insights into application performance.
  • Act as a point of contact for escalated support issues, providing L3 support for applications and infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure reliability and scalability of applications.
  • Develop automation scripts using Python, Shell scripting, or Perl to streamline operational tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous deployment and integration.
  • Maintain clear documentation of systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Generate regular reports on system performance and incident response metrics.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in software development with languages such as Java,.NET, or Python.
  • Strong knowledge of monitoring tools (AppDynamics, Prometheus, DataDog, etc.) and logging tools (Splunk, Kibana).
  • Familiarity with visualization tools like Grafana.
  • Experience in building and configuring customized metric exporters and dashboards.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies and infrastructure management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
