Senior Mortgage Loan Reviewer

We are seeking a highly skilled Loan Underwriter to review mortgage files, calculate income and analyze debt and assets.
About the Role:
- Perform in-depth reviews of mortgage loan files, including income, assets, credit and collateral.
- Utilize client's loan operating system to ensure accurate data entry.
- Underwrite loans according to guidelines, utilizing Automated Underwriting Systems or manual guidelines.
- Evaluate overall loan documents for accuracy, completeness and compliance.
- Issue loan decisions and clear conditions as required.
- Maintain current knowledge of client requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough analysis of mortgage loan applications.
- Verify information and identify potential issues.
- Collaborate with Processors and Loan Officers to resolve underwriting decisions and conditions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in conventional mortgage loan underwriting.
- Strong knowledge of income calculations, tax returns and credit reports.
- Familiarity with GSE underwriting guidelines and automated underwriting engines.
Required Skills:
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining customer service standards.
