Senior Frontend Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced professional to take ownership of the entire UI/UX lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of user-centred design, atomic component structure, and modular layout systems. They will be responsible for designing and implementing clean, maintainable, and scalable UIs using React, TypeScript, and Material UI.

The successful candidate will collaborate with the Product owner, backend engineers, and platform stakeholders to translate complex workflows into intuitive interfaces. They will create detailed Figma prototypes and conduct quick UX experiments to validate concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement clean, maintainable, and scalable UIs using React, TypeScript, and Material UI
  • Collaborate with the Product owner, backend engineers, and platform stakeholders to translate complex workflows into intuitive interfaces
  • Create detailed Figma prototypes and conduct quick UX experiments to validate concepts
  • Drive the information architecture, interaction design, and UX flows for multi-role, dashboard-heavy platforms
  • Evaluate third-party libraries, charting tools, and UI kits where applicable
  • Review UI code, optimise performance, and ensure responsiveness, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and containerized frontend deployment
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and leading sprint ceremonies
  • Exposure to testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress

Requirements:

  • 6-10 years of frontend development experience
  • Expert-level proficiency in React, TypeScript, Material UI
  • Advanced experience in Figma - wireframing, prototyping, component design
  • Proven ability to translate business logic into clean UX flows and frontend data models
  • Experience building enterprise-grade dashboards, admin panels, and workflows
  • Strong understanding of user-centred design, atomic component structure, and modular layout systems
  • Familiarity with developer handoff best practices and versioning in design

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
