Technical Excellence Lead

As a Technical Excellence Lead, you will be responsible for driving customer success and enabling product adoption through expert technical guidance.

This pivotal role supports our application security portfolio in India, with a primary base in Mumbai. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that meet their requirements.

  • Conduct technical discovery sessions, product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and workshops for our flagship product.
  • Prepare responses for technical sections of request for information/request for proposal documents and address customer queries.
  • Guide customers in adopting our product within DevSecOps and secure software development lifecycle practices.
  • Partner with sales, services, product management, and support teams to deliver effective solutions.
  • Build reusable technical assets (presentations, demo scripts, frequently asked questions).
  • Conduct partner enablement workshops and provide technical guidance for channel engagements.
  • Stay updated on cybersecurity trends, compliance requirements, and application security best practices.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted technical advisor.
Requirements & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 5 years of experience in technical pre-sales, solution engineering, or consulting in application security or enterprise software.
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of security testing tools and methodologies (dynamic application security testing, static application security testing, software composition analysis, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript, Bash).
  • Experience with our flagship product or competitor tools like Fortify, Checkmarx, Snyk, Veracode, or Burp Suite.
  • Familiarity with DevOps pipelines, continuous integration/continuous deployment tools, and secure coding practices.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and executive engagement skills.
