The company offers turnkey design, engineering, installation & commissioning of Solar Power Plants across the country as vendor-neutral solutions provider, bringing best-in-class value and services.

Our experienced team has delivered projects in multiple industry verticals, with hands-on knowledge of executing over 1 Gigawatt of projects.

This role involves supporting sales teams in acquiring new business and managing relationships within the solar energy market.

This position requires analyzing customer requirements, making proposals in consultation with the sales team, and working with both technical and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Support and Strategy:Developing and executing sales strategy for solar projects.Conducting market research to identify potential leads and opportunities.Building relationships with key decision-makers in government, commercial, and industrial sectors.Preparing and delivering sales presentations to potential clients, effectively explaining solar energy solutions.
  2. Proposal and Contract Management:Assisting in preparing technical and financial proposals for solar energy projects.Collaborating with technical teams to ensure accurate project scope and cost estimates.Supporting contract negotiations and finalizing agreements with clients.
  3. Client Relationship Management:Maintaining strong client relationships through regular communication and post-sales support.Addressing client inquiries and resolving issues related to project delivery and installations.Following up with clients to ensure satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling or additional services.
  4. Project Coordination:Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.Tracking project progress and ensuring timelines, budgets, and client expectations are met.Monitoring the performance of existing projects to identify areas for improvement.
  5. Sales Reporting and Forecasting:Maintaining accurate records of sales activities, leads, and client interactions.Providing regular sales reports and forecasts to the Sales Head.Analyzing sales data to identify trends and improve sales strategies.
  6. Industry Knowledge:Staying up-to-date with industry trends, solar technology, and government policies regarding renewable energy.Attending industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand professional knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field with MBA preferable
  • Total experience of 10+ years & minimum 5+ years relevant experience in solar / renewable energy sector in project sales

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of solar energy products, systems, and solutions
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficient in MS Office, CRM software, and sales reporting tools
  • Ability to analyze technical data and convey it clearly to clients
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
