As a Backend Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and scaling APIs, services, and data pipelines that power learning for millions of users.

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer who can rapidly build POCs, collaborate with the team to ship features, and optimize systems for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in backend development, strong skills in Node.js (NestJS/Express.js), and hands-on experience with AWS (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, CloudFront). They will also be proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB) and have a good understanding of REST, WebSockets, and event-driven systems.

Additional Skills: Experience with Python, Docker/Kubernetes, DevOps practices, or startup experience is a plus.
