We are seeking a highly skilled Analog Layout Design Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad, India. As an Analog Layout Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing critical analog, mixed-signal, and custom digital blocks, as well as performing layout verification and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality layouts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and development of critical analog, mixed-signal, and custom digital blocks.
  • Perform layout verification, including LVS/DRC/Antenna, quality check, and documentation.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality layouts.
  • Lead and guide junior team members in their execution of sub-block-level layouts and review their work.
  • Contribute to effective project management and communication with global engineering teams.

Requirements:

  • 5-15 years of experience in analog/custom layout design in advanced CMOS processes.
  • Expertise in Cadence VLE/VXL and Mentor Graphic Calibre DRC/LVS.
  • Hands-on experience in creating layouts of critical blocks, such as temperature sensors, PLLs, ADCs, DACs, LDOs, bandgap references, charge pumps, current mirrors, comparators, and differential amplifiers.
  • Good understanding of analog layout fundamentals, including matching, electro-migration, latch-up, coupling, crosstalk, IR-drop, active and passive parasitic devices.
  • Ability to understand design constraints and implement high-quality layouts.
  • Excellent command and problem-solving skills in physical verification of custom layouts.
  • Multiple tape-out support experience is an added advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education: BE or MTech in Electronic/VLSI Engineering. We will also consider exceptionally talented Diploma holders in electronic or VLSI engineering.
