We are seeking a skilled Electrical Procurement Specialist to manage the procurement process for electrical equipment.
Main Responsibilities:- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for various electrical products including pooling substation, grid substation, EHV & HV transmission line, GI tower structures, RSJ & PCC poles, Al conductors, unit substation, and SCADA related accessories.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing supplier reliability and maintaining relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery.
Negotiation and Contract Management:- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to secure the best possible terms and conditions, including cost, delivery, and quality parameters.
The successful candidate will have experience in contract negotiation, supplier management, and cost control.
Procurement Process Execution:- Manage the entire procurement process from order placement through SAP to tracking delivery and ensuring compliance with project timelines.
The candidate will be responsible for monitoring and controlling procurement costs to ensure adherence to project budgets and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
Techincal Specification Review:- Review technical specifications and drawings to ensure that procured materials and equipment meet project requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and equipment, including relevant industry standards and regulations.
Quality Assurance:- Ensure that all procured materials meet the required quality standards and specifications, implementing quality control measures, and conducting inspections as necessary.
The successful candidate will maintain accurate records of procurement activities, generate reports on procurement performance, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
