Job Title: Demand Planning Strategist.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive Demand Planning Strategist to lead the implementation of SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) for demand management. You will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to align forecasts with business objectives, analyzing historical data, and utilizing SAP IBP tools to enhance forecasting accuracy and efficiency.

This role requires strong expertise in demand planning and the ability to design and execute robust demand planning strategies.


Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Lead the SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) implementation for demand management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align demand forecasts with business objectives.
  • Conduct regular demand planning meetings to review and adjust forecasts.
  • Analyze historical data and market trends to develop accurate demand forecasts.
  • Utilize SAP IBP tools to enhance forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in the demand planning process.
  • Implement and maintain best practices in demand planning processes.
  • Design and execute robust demand planning strategies.
  • Train and mentor junior team members on demand planning practices.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in forecasting and demand processes.
  • Manage communication with stakeholders regarding demand plan assumptions and updates.
  • Facilitate scenario planning to assess the impact of potential business changes.
  • Support the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) for demand planning.
  • Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure balanced inventory levels.
  • Participate in regular reviews with senior management to report on demand forecasting results.

Skills Required:

  • Proven track record of leading demand planning initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with data analysis tools and techniques.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

  • Experience in change management processes.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of supply chain concepts and best practices.
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced consulting environment is a plus.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
