Job Title: Enterprise Java Support Specialist

Seeking a seasoned and self-motivated support engineer to provide expert-level technical assistance for Java-based applications.

This role involves delivering high-quality support, collaborating with offshore and onshore teams, and ensuring seamless issue resolution.

  • Support Services:
  • Provide in-depth technical assistance for core services during rotating 24x5 shifts.
  • Independently handle support requests; escalate only when necessary.
  • Accurately track and document all issues, including resolution steps and follow-ups.
  • Lead weekly Wednesday morning reviews, guaranteeing proper hand-offs and follow-ups.
  • Ensure seamless issue handoff to the next shift at end of day.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with onshore developers for development-related tasks.
  • Participate in scrum meetings and project discussions during US overlap hours.
  • Take ownership of assigned development tasks and ensure effective communication.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Develop extensive familiarity with Java, Spring Boot, relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL), and version control tools like Github.
  • Desired Skills:
  • Python, Javascript, Kafka, MongoDB, Snowflake (optional).
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively resolve issues.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
