Project Management Opportunity

This role is a key part of our organisation's success, working closely with various teams to deliver remediation projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in project lifecycle delivery, operating and developing relationships at all levels in a matrix organisation. They will be able to negotiate, problem solve and manage conflicts internally and externally, demonstrating a high level of motivation, flexibility, drive, and personal commitment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage project scope and expectations, ensuring that changes are considered from a resource, cost, and time perspective and seeking necessary approval within governance structures.
  • Lead project teams, overseeing Subject Matter Experts or other teams involved in project delivery when acting as project manager.
  • Set and manage project expectations, delegating and managing deliverables with team members and stakeholders.
  • Promote strong leadership behaviours, acting in a transparent and appropriate manner in dealings with stakeholders and project team members.
  • Ensure effective tracking of project progress, meeting stipulated timelines and objectives.

Required skills and qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience in project lifecycle delivery as either project manager or in PMO role.
  • Negotiating, problem solving and conflict management skills.
  • A high level of motivation, flexibility, drive, and personal commitment.
  • Strong project management qualifications, such as Prince2, PMI PMP, Agile Scrum master.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate teams.
