At CoreEL Technologies, we're looking for a seasoned professional to join our team as a Mechanical Design Lead.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing complex electromechanical enclosures and chassis for defence, avionics, and telecom industries.

Key Requirements:

Must-Haves:

• Minimum 15+ years of experience in mechanical design with expertise in milled, sheet metal, and plastic enclosure designs.

• Strong knowledge of structural and thermal analysis, including SolidWorks and AutoCAD tools.

• Experience managing a team of 10+ members with excellent leadership skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Proficiency in creating BOMs, selecting materials, fasteners, and surface finishes.

• Vendor development activities and supply chain management.

• Knowledge of industry standards like 19-inch rack, ATR, VPX, VME, and ATCA.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement mechanical design solutions that meet customer requirements.

• Collaborate with project teams to capture input and design accordingly.

• Ensure designs meet DFM (Design for Manufacturing) guidelines.

• Manage and lead a team of engineers to achieve project goals.

• Foster innovation and quality across all disciplines.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

• Experience with CNC machining and surface finish processes.
