Job Title:

Logistics Supply Chain Manager


">Job Summary:

We seek a highly experienced and skilled Logistics Supply Chain Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of logistics operations.

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics costs, reduce lead times, and improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, shipping lines, and other stakeholders to negotiate rates and contracts.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities:

Logistics Operations:

  • Plan and execute in-bound and out-bound logistics operations to meet customer demands.
  • Ensure smooth operation of customs tariff headings, EPCG licenses, and other regulatory requirements.

Supply Chain Management:

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain costs, reduce lead times, and improve efficiency.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, shipping lines, and other stakeholders to negotiate rates and contracts.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare and present regular reports on logistics operations, including KPIs and trends.
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Requirements:

To be successful as a Logistics Supply Chain Manager, you will need:

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in manufacturing industry preferably.
  • Proven track record of managing logistics operations, supply chain management, and vendor relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to negotiate rates and contracts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of customs rules and procedures, EXIM policies, and other regulatory requirements.
