System Administrator

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled System Administrator to join our team. As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for monitoring and administering our cloud infrastructure, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, RDS databases, and Lambda functions.

You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining high-availability and disaster recovery solutions, utilizing backup software such as Veeam, AWS Snapshots, Commvault, and Backup Exec.

Additionally, you will oversee automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud and on-premises resources.

Furthermore, you will analyze system performance, identify trends, and implement improvements to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.

They will also have proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.

Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation is highly preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in implementing and managing AWS cloud solutions.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience administering Okta.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is highly preferred.
