Project Management Overview

The Project Managers are part of the Delivery Management practice within a professional services organization. The key objectives of this team are:

  • Ensuring successful & consistent delivery of software solutions to customers in every industry.
  • Effectively manage commercial aspects by securing committed revenue & maintaining healthy margins.
  • Effective change management to secure additional revenue for the organisation.

As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in the growth of our Services practice, help implement best practices and new methodologies, and help deliver projects as per agreed scope, schedule & budget ensuring higher revenue & maintain healthy margins for the organisation.

Our Project Managers manage a diverse portfolio of customers and projects that will vary in size, complexity, industry domain, and use-case in general across their entire lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Successful project implementation by using project management best practices & methodologies.
  • Manage a project team of functional and technical consultants (internal & external).
  • Good understanding of software products to be able to converse with the client in a knowledgeable and confident manner.
  • Build trusted client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Interpret different commercial and contractual terms and manage the project as per agreed terms & conditions of the contract.
  • Support leaders, Practice Leads and Sales teams on pre-sales activity and proposals (incl. Statements of Work approvals/ Project Management estimates).
  • Adhere to PMO Governance & Project Reporting using Project management tools.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Overall 15+ years of working experience.
  • 8+ years of effective Project Manager experience.
  • Worked in reputable banks, System Integrators (SI), Product Companies and/or Software Organisations.
  • Software implementation experience in Project Management/Technical Delivery Management.
  • Should have delivered end-2-end large / medium software projects using Waterfall & Agile Methodology.
  • Good understanding of Risk, Fraud , Originations , Customer Onboarding domains.
  • Experience in delivering software solutions in Loan Originations, Fraud, Decisioning, Customer Management.
  • Experience in delivering Cloud based implementations & On-Perm solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent work experience.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certifications like Scrum Master, SAFe.
  • Willing to travel (20-30%).

  • Track record of owning and carrying out projects from start to finish with a strong prioritisation and time management.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with internal & external teams and varying levels of management.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to independently drive projects through to completion.
  • Highly collaborative approach to build, manage and motivate project teams spread across Geographies, Department and Organisations (Clients and Partners).
