Job Title: Senior Urban Development Project ManagerJob Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Urban Development Project Manager to oversee state-level implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) scheme. As a key member of our team, you will lead large-scale, centrally sponsored urban housing projects across multiple stakeholders and departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop annual action plans and coordinate city-level, district-level, and municipal teams for effective on-ground delivery.
  • Supervise project management activities including timelines, fund utilization, beneficiary identification, and progress tracking.
  • Prepare, analyze, and manage project-related Request for Proposals (RFPs), bidding documents, and oversee the entire bid management process ensuring government compliance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders: state, municipal, and central government officials, private developers, financial institutions, consultants, and communities.
  • Coordinate the flow of funds: ensure timely fund release from central/state resources and proper utilization through direct benefit transfer (DBT).
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Management, Urban Planning, Public Policy, Computer Science, Finance, or related fields.
  • Minimum 9 years in project/program management, including at least 4-5 years handling government, housing, infrastructure, or urban development projects.
  • Proven experience in centrally sponsored/central government schemes, including fund management and implementation at state level or with government consulting assignments.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Large-scale project management, monitoring, and real-time progress tracking.
  • Deep understanding of centrally sponsored schemes, particularly in housing/urban development.
  • Financial management: fund flow, subsidy tracking, utilization certificates, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • IT and data analytics: experience with MIS, dashboards, process automation, and digital reporting platforms.
