About the Role
This Senior Network Engineer II position is part of our Network Reliability Engineering (NRE) project engineering team.
The role involves designing and implementing next-gen DNS, DHCP, and IPAM solutions across Marriott International networks. You will work closely with expert network architects and engineers to drive adoption of NRE practices and operating models globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining Goals: Submit reports on time, documenting project progress, and providing input to other teams.
- Demonstrating Discipline Knowledge: Providing technical expertise, supporting colleagues, and keeping up-to-date with job-relevant issues.
- Delivering Stakeholder Needs: Understanding key stakeholders' needs, developing goals, prioritizing tasks, and collaborating with internal partners.
Requirements:
- Graduate degree in an engineering or computer science discipline.
- 6+ years' experience in developing network solutions using DDI expertise in mission-critical networks.
- Experience with DDI appliance technologies from industry-leading vendors and SaaS-based DDI solutions.
- Knowledge of foundational data networking and IP technologies, including DNS, DHCP, NTP, ARP, TCP/IP, UDP, NAT, and others.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing DDI tools in the hospitality industry, leveraging public APIs for automation scripts, and strong knowledge of emerging tools and systems for attaining best-in-class DDI solutions.
