Design Visionary Lead

Job Description:

As a senior design professional, you will be responsible for leading our design function, guiding a small but growing team of designers to create world-class user experiences. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, creativity, and hands-on design abilities, along with the capacity to mentor and grow design talent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guide, mentor, and inspire a team of UI/UX and graphic designers to achieve outstanding results.
  • Define and own the design vision, ensuring consistency across digital products and brand touchpoints.
  • Develop wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with product, development, and SEO team members to translate business goals into user-friendly designs.
  • Establish and maintain design systems, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Manage project timelines, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality designs.
  • Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and methodologies.
Requirements:
  • Education: Degree/Diploma in Design, Visual Communication, or related field from a reputable design school.
  • Experience: 2–5 years of professional design experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UI/UX design across web and mobile platforms.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent tools.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in agile environments.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey design decisions effectively.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Motion design or micro-interactions expertise.
  • Experience building or managing a design system.
  • Exposure to HTML/CSS or front-end basics.
  • Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.
