Job Summary:

As a Strategic Process Improvement Manager, you will play a key role in enhancing operational efficiency and reducing waste by leveraging lean methods. Your primary objective will be to optimize facility utilization, streamline workflow, and collaborate with colleagues to design efficient workstations and processes.

  • You will facilitate groups and individuals across all functions to identify quality improvement projects focusing on key business processes and decide on the application of methodology.
  • Communicate progress updates to the steering committee team and implement best practices for quality management systems.
  • As a Six Sigma coach, provide expert advice and assistance to Green Belts, Process Owners, and Team Members in statistics, change management, and process design strategies.
  • Monitor team activities, analyze data, and ensure timely project completion while guiding Operations teams to minimize variability through process capability index tools.
  • Motivate team members to participate effectively in improvement activities and reward high performers monthly.
  • Implement SPC systems and tools in the department to monitor and control processes.
  • Work closely with global teams to develop annual lean transformation plans based on value stream maps, Strategy Deployment objectives, and lean assessments.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Leading and influencing others in teams through education/communication that change in methodology is the right thing to do.

Partner with stakeholders at all levels to identify high-impact improvement opportunities and their business champions.

Track and report project results, ensuring improved processes remain improved.

Lead multi-disciplined teams addressing quality issues and executing systemic improvement projects in a timely manner.

Focus on one of the highest management priorities.

Facilitate coaching to build empowered teams supporting business growth.

Prepare weekly and monthly reports pertaining to operations.

Ensure adherence to basic quality management system.
