The Jhagadia Float Glass manufacturing unit is a strategic investment in western India with the acquisition of a float glass plant in 2011. Located at Central Gujarat in Jhagadia, this state-of-the-art facility covers an area of 150 acres and produces 550 MT of clear glass per day.

This benchmark-setting plant has set a high-quality standard within India and globally, producing clear glass with less than 650 ppm of Iron. The campus also features an in-house Sand Beneficiation plant with a capacity to produce 600 tons of treated sand per day.

Additionally, Saint-Gobain has made a strategic investment in value-added products, such as Shower Cubicles, catering to Home and Hospitality business segments.

Jhagadia glass site has positioned itself over a decade to attract future investments of Saint-Gobain in India. Our greatest asset is our people.

Key Role Responsibilities:

  • experience in Finished Goods- Particularly Warehouse and Dispatch which comes at the end of the Manufacturing Process
  • Responsible for receipt from Float Responsible for Safety & 5S in warehouse Bays
  • Manage storage & Serviceability in the warehouse bays
  • Responsible for traceability and retrievability of material
  • Responsible for bay audits and reporting
  • Responsible for Inventory Management
  • Knowledge of Forklift operations and EOT
  • Knowledge on optimization of space, consumables
  • Knowledge on inventory management
  • Knowledge about warehouse activity

Required Qualifications:

  • Diploma - Engineering (Any stream) with Good Academic record
  • 2-4 years
