Global Payroll Specialist

Job opportunity for a Payroll Expert in Singapore.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and select software for running payroll, incorporating product technology requirements.
- Ensure accurate execution of payroll in your region and other countries.
- Prepare and reconcile internal payroll reports, ensuring compliance with local tax authorities.
- Own all critical local payroll processes, including involuntary deductions and employee onboarding/offboarding.
- Schedule payroll expenses collections and reconcile them to expenses.
- Assess and improve growth processes and procedures, ensuring compliance.
- Stay informed of relevant regulatory changes and communicate key changes across teams.
- Work cross-functionally to provide expertise on local payroll matters.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field from accredited institution.
- 4+ years of payroll experience in relevant country.
- Strong knowledge of local regulations and policies related to payroll.
- Ability to prioritize tasks while meeting deadlines timely and accurately.
- Strong verbal and written skills to connect with clients and stakeholders.
- Interpersonal skills to explain complex issues at understandable level.
- Advanced knowledge of payroll software solutions.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
- Proficiency in English.
- Experience managing external payroll providers is an advantage.
