Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full life cycle support of client databases, including RAC and non-RAC for OLTP and warehouse, Active DataGuard for DR, partitioning on 12c and 19c in on-premises and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Database design, development, testing, and performance tuning
  • Collaboration with developers to design and build new structures to support application enhancements and promote database changes throughout the Dev, UAT, and Prod databases
  • Proactive thinking towards automation of repeated tasks

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a strong background in database administration, including experience with Oracle Exadata patching and maintenance. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with implementation and administration of database systems
  • Strong design, development, administration skills
  • Strong knowledge on managing Automatic storage management
  • Strong analytical abilities to solve complex database performance issues using AWR/ASH/ADDM/TKPROF/SQLT/10046 tracing/OSWatcher/CHM etc.
  • Experience in managing Database in AWS cloud environment
  • Experience in writing Shell scripts
  • Good written/oral communication and soft skills
  • Oracle certification can be a plus
