Statutory Audit Role

We are seeking a qualified professional to lead statutory audits in Vijayawada.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop audit planning documentation, outlining scope, objectives, budgeted hours, resource allocation, and reporting deadlines.
  • Successfully complete assigned audits, addressing all objectives, conducting client and status meetings as required, monitoring and controlling audit progress, reviewing work papers, and ensuring compliance with internal standards for documentation.
  • Monitor assignments for efficiency improvements, manage audits in relation to time and resource budgets.
  • Ensure all findings and issues are documented and perform closedown procedures.
  • Gather and compile information and data.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including good presentation and report-writing skills.
  • Develop strong relationships across the organization.
  • Provide recommendations for strengthening controls.
  • Show ability to deal well with ambiguity and constant change, as well as working independently.
  • Display a solid understanding of IND AS and the Companies Act.
  • Think conceptually, visualize different scenarios, and decide based on analysis and logical reasoning.
Requirements
  • Semi-qualified CA with experience in Statutory Audit during Articleship.
  • Proficient knowledge of statutory audit procedures and standards.
  • Strong expertise in IGAAP, IND AS, and its practical application.
  • Excellent presentation and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to think conceptually and visualize different scenarios.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) include timely completion of audits, client satisfaction, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
