Job Overview

The Portfolio Management team serves as leaders and collaborators across various functional areas, working closely with stakeholders to achieve optimal portfolio performance.

\

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team in the execution of reporting to investors, shareholders, and key stakeholders invested in single-family rental (SFR) properties.

\

This role requires strong analytical skills, technical expertise in Excel and Tableau, and excellent communication skills to effectively articulate strategy and performance to leading institutional investors.

\

Key Responsibilities

  • Generating operational reports for SFR portfolios delivered externally to joint venture (JV) institutional investors.\
  • Maintaining compliance with contractually required investor guidelines.\
  • Reconciling results to ensure accuracy and completeness of operational metrics.\
  • Refreshing report exhibits in Excel-generated templates.\
  • Developing analysis, identifying data errors, and maintaining inventory of investor reports.\
  • Working with senior portfolio managers to maintain and improve complex portfolio investment and fund-level models.\
  • Building and maintaining portfolio/financial models, including cash flow projections and IRR calculations.\
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive workflows independently.\
  • Providing guidance to team members on complex deliverables.\
  • Identifying opportunities to centralize, eliminate, or automate activities.\
  • Monitoring the performance of operational reports and taking corrective action to optimize or improve the reporting process when necessary.\
  • Supporting PM and Investor Reporting team members on additional reporting asks or special projects.\
  • Developing deep understanding of Amherst's fundamentals to further develop analysis and identify data discrepancies within operational reports.\
  • Communicating corrective solutions to stakeholders.\\

Requirements

  • \
  • Education: MBA/CA/CFA with financial markets understanding a plus.\
  • Experience: 4-7 years of prior experience in Financial Services and/or Real Estate firms preferred.\
  • Highly analytical mindset.\
  • Technical skills in MS Office Excel and PowerPoint, with prior experience in Tableau and SQL preferred.\
  • Proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and meet deadlines.\
  • Positive attitude with high integrity.\
  • Strong team player, multiple internal stakeholder management.\
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with clients and management.\
  • Self-starter, proactive, motivated, driven personality, Excellent organizational and time management skills.\\
