Senior Manager


Overview

This is a senior-level position in the field of credit underwriting and portfolio management. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end credit processes, including policy formulation, portfolio analysis, and risk monitoring.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement credit underwriting policies to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with data science teams to analyze underwriting models and validate their performance on existing portfolios.
  • Monitor portfolio profitability and identify areas for improvement through data-driven insights.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across functions to ensure seamless integration and effective communication.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as credit reporting agencies.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A postgraduate degree in finance, statistics, or management from a reputable institution.
  • At least 7 years of experience in risk management and policy creation, with 3-4 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large datasets.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Skills
  • Proficiency in data analytics, model validation, and policy formulation.
  • Experience with R/Python, SQL, and advanced Excel.
