Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Implement Cloud Infrastructure: Utilize AWS and Terraform to create scalable and secure cloud environments.
  2. Develop Configuration Management: Leverage Chef, Ansible, and Ruby to automate configuration and deployment processes.
  3. Automate CI/CD Pipelines: Employ Jenkins and related DevOps tools to streamline software development and deployment.
  4. Create Infrastructure as Code: Develop IaC using Terraform for consistent and repeatable deployments.
  5. Develop Automation Tools: Utilize Python to streamline operations and support self-service capabilities.
  6. Containerize Applications: Employ Docker to manage container lifecycle and ensure efficient application deployment.
  7. Support Application Migration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to migrate applications to cloud environments while ensuring minimal downtime and high reliability.
  8. Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Familiarize yourself with regulatory standards in the payments domain and ensure compliance.
  9. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with teams to deliver end-to-end solutions and drive innovation in self-service automation.
  10. Drive Innovation: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Chef and Ruby for configuration management.
  • Proficiency in AWS cloud services and architecture.
  • Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
  • Solid understanding of Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline integrations.
  • Scripting experience with Python.
  • Experience with Ansible for automation and orchestration.
  • Proficiency in Docker for containerization.
  • Familiarity with Payments systems and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience in application migration to cloud platforms.
  • Experience in building end-user self-service automation tools or platforms.
