Backend Infrastructure Engineer Opportunity

We're looking for a seasoned Backend Engineer to join our team and help us design, build, and operate large-scale cloud-native infrastructure systems.

This is a critical role for any organization seeking to modernize their technology stack and improve scalability, reliability, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in infrastructure engineering with a passion for building complex systems.

  • Design and Build Cloud-Native Infrastructure: Develop Kubernetes clusters and drive automation for provisioning, scaling, and upgrades.
  • Cost Optimization and Efficiency: Create cost optimization strategies for cloud services and infrastructure utilization.
  • Platform Services: Construct internal platform services (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, observability stacks) for use by engineering teams across the company.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering roles.
  • Expertise in cloud-native infrastructure—AWS, GCP, or Azure—with deep hands-on experience.
  • Strong background in Kubernetes architecture and operations (schedulers, K8s internals).
  • Experience building internal developer platforms, control planes, or service frameworks.
  • Fluent in modern scripting and programming languages—Go, Python, Java.
  • Familiarity with observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry) and CI/CD tools.
  • Experience with infra/security compliance in production-grade environments (e.g., PCI, SOC 2, ISO).
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and operating large-scale cloud-native infrastructure systems. This includes developing Kubernetes clusters, driving automation for provisioning, scaling, and upgrades, as well as creating cost optimization strategies for cloud services and infrastructure utilization.

In addition, the candidate will be responsible for constructing internal platform services (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, observability stacks) for use by engineering teams across the company.
