Senior Physical Design Specialist

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in implementing and optimizing physical design methodologies to drive efficiency and scalability. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cutting-edge solutions that meet the highest standards of quality.

  • Design Implementation: Translate high-level designs into working silicon, leveraging expertise in block-level physical signoff, timing signoff, and ECO generation.
  • Automation Skills: Utilize scripting languages like Perl, Tcl, Awk, and Python to automate tasks, improve efficiency, and optimize workflows.
  • Leadership: Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and lead a team of 4-6 engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Communication: Serve as the single point of contact for clients, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Project Management: Successfully lead small project teams, driving them towards completion while meeting client expectations and deadlines.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and implementing optimized physical design methodologies to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives and deliver high-quality results.
  3. Maintaining and improving existing automation scripts to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
