Logic Design Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Logic Design Engineer to lead the development of high-performance processor core front-end pipeline units. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and architecting CPU units, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring pre-silicon design sign-off meets functional, area, and timing goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop micro-architecture and design RTL for processor core front-end pipeline units.
  • Collaborate with Core Units, Verification, DFT, Physical Design, Timing, FW, and SW teams to develop features.
  • Participate in post-silicon lab bring-up and validation of hardware.
  • Lead a team of engineers, guide, and mentor team members.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in architecting and designing specific CPU units (e.g., I-Cache, Instruction Fetch, Branch Prediction, Instruction Decode).
  • Hands-on experience with different Branch Prediction techniques.
  • Deep expertise in Out-of-Order, Super Scalar, Multi-Threaded Core Architecture, and ISA.
  • Experience with high-frequency instruction pipeline designs and at least 1 generation of Processor Core silicon bring-up experience.
  • In-depth understanding of industry microprocessor designs (e.g., x86, ARM, or RISC-V processor designs).
  • Proficiency in RTL design with Verilog or VHDL and knowledge of at least one object-oriented or functional programming language and scripting language.
